I have in excess of fourteen years of experience of providing Medico-Legal reports in London, the West Country and East Anglia.

I have prepared both Claimant and Defendant reports but more and more of my work is now instructed on a Joint basis by lawyers or insurance companies.  

I receive approximately two hundred medico-legal instructions per annum.

I have attended Court and also various legal Chambers, particularly in London to provide expert opinion.

Previously in the West Country I was a member of several Medico-legal Societies and helped to organise a lecture programme for the combined medical and legal professions.

In addition I also have a Medical Negligence Practice, giving expert opinion both to the NHS Litigation Authority and Lawyers representing patients, who have had adverse surgical outcomes, particularly in the realms of joint replacement surgery.

In 2005 and 2006, I was one of two Orthopaedic Experts instructed by the renowned legal firm of Leigh Day & Co. in a joint replacement product liability case.  This group action was  successful one.

I provided both Causation and Prognosis reports, gave expert opinion to Senior Partners of the company and also discussed specimen cases with their Senior Counsel, Lord Brennan Q.C.

My current waiting list for medico-legal reports in East Anglia is one to two months and in the West Country two months.  On occasions individual cases can be prepared at short notice providing all of the notes are obtained and forwarded in advance.

If notes are available I endeavour to have my Opinion completed within two weeks of medico-legal appointments.
